Quinta do Lago

Premium gated community and golf resort in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. We partnered with SPX Capital for a co-investment deal and acquired a stake at Quinta do Lago developments. It was a combination of value-add from an opportunistic distressed acquisition. The Sponsor is retrofitting 63 luxury houses, 35 new developments and coordinating hospitality management.

Co-investment alongside SPX Capital to acquire a strategic stake at an attractive basis through a distressed special situation. The thesis centers on Algarve's structural appeal as a European destination of choice — favorable tax regime (NHR), flight connectivity to major EU cities, and a constrained supply of premium resort-residential assets driving sustained pricing power. The value-add plan includes retrofitting existing luxury houses and new development.

Active investment. The Sponsor is executing on the retrofitting of 63 luxury houses and 35 new developments, while coordinating hospitality management across the property.
